We stayed in the lodge with shared rooms, and that's always a bit of a nerve-wracking experience; you never know what you're getting yourself into! But since we couldn't go any further for the night, we took the chance, and I'm so glad we did. The lodge is gorgeous and in a beautiful location. Stacey is a gracious host, and my favorite part of the stay was chatting with her and another guest who happened to be in the lodge! Stacey went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and in the short time we were there, we saw her doing the same for many of the guests who were in the cabins. She is simply amazing, as is the Meandering Moose. It's far enough from town that you don't hear the cruise crowd or traffic, but not so far that you can't run in as often as you'd like. Don't think twice about booking!!

Stacy is amazing. Very hospitable and welcoming. She greeted me as soon as I arrived and welcomed me in. Gave me a tour right away. Beautiful cabin. Common area is well furnished and beautiful. Kitchen well kept will all amenities. Coffee, popcorn, Tea. Amazing. The room was just great and beyond expectation. Bed was SO comfortable. Bathroom amazing. Outdoor stunning views. Has such great esthetics. Just all around great experience. Could not have found a better place to stay. Would highly recommend for anyone on their way to Denali or just want an amazing place to stay in Alaska.
These are beautiful little cabins, secluded, but still close to town. The owners are awesome. People, would definitely stay here again. Would recommend anyone looking for a cute little spot with privacy
The Cozy Moose cabin for 2 was adorable, cozy and comfy. The bathroom with a hot shower was just down the easy path as described. The grounds were well maintained, lush with beautiful flowers and lighted path. The hosts were very personable and we enjoyed visiting with them. Our stay was delightful!
We loved our stay at the Meander Moose Lodge! Stacey was a great host and we can't recommend staying here enough. The lodge was beautiful and the room was very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Talkeetna!
A friend and I booked the Uppity Moose room for one night on vacation. The lodge was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, extra fans in case needed for warmer weather. Stacy (owner) was knowledgeable about the area, helpful and friendly. We had some great conversations! We would definitely stay here again.
The lodge had a great common room, kitchen and beautiful suite with private bathroom. The owners were on site and gave great advice about nearby restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend.
